This field indicates the primary sponsor of the legislation and the wards they represent.

Committee:
The City Council has 19 standing committees. All legislation is assigned to a committee or a joint committee, made up of two or more standing committees, for consideration.

Status:
A pending or introduced status indicates that a legislative item has been introduced at a City Council meeting and referred to a Committee, but a final vote has yet to be taken on the matter. A passed status indicates that a final vote has been taken by the full City Council, the item passed and the legislation is in effect.

Subject:
This is a brief description of the legislative document. This may include the address, name or other defining issue regarding the legislation.

Document number:
Each City Council document is assigned a unique document number, which contains identifying information. This number has three components: the alpha prefix which describes the document type/status, the middle four numbers indicate the year, and the number(s) following the hyphen indicate the number assigned to that particular document (e.g., PO2009-1). Date:
The date indicates when an item was introduced and/or passed at a City Council meeting.

Vote:
Each piece of legislation, when passed, has a vote count. The yes vote count is the first number and the no vote count is the second number indicated (e.g., 40/10).
