FAFSA Preparation Assistance

To help students receive the maximum amount of college financial aid for which they are eligible, Chicago City Clerk Susana Mendoza and the nonprofit organization Ladder Up are offering one-on-one assistance in completing the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students and their parents are encouraged to take part in the free assistance in completing the FAFSA, the first step in receiving any state or federal loans, grants and scholarships.

Sessions are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St., Room 107. The program runs Jan. 29 - April 17. Students are encouraged to apply early to receive maximum amount of financial aid.
