The City Council meets in the Council Chamber located on the Second Floor of City Hall, 121 North LaSalle Street. The date and time of City Council meetings may be set by ordinance (65 ILCS 5/3.1-40-25) at the close of each preceding meeting or if no specific time is set, then such regular meeting(s) of the City Council shall automatically be held in the Council Chamber at 10:00 a.m. every second and fourth Wednesday of each calendar month (Municipal Code Title 2, Chapter 8, Section 010). The notice for each meeting of the City Council is posted in the Office of the City Clerk and outside the Council Chamber.
