Reopening Updates

All of our Office of the City Clerk (OCC) locations are now open to provide city services to Chicago residents. To adhere to gathering restrictions and social distancing rules, our office will be phasing in employees, starting with limited front-line staff. For the health and well-being of both our team and our residents, our office has implemented operational changes to increase safety. 

Increased Safety Measures

All residents and staff members are required to wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing (maintaining a six-foot distance) while inside any of our Office of the City Clerk locations. Plexiglass has also been installed at all of our Office of the City Clerk locations.

All residents visiting our City Hall location should use the designated entrance (LaSalle Street). Staff and security will be stationed throughout the lobby to assist with any questions or concerns. All residents and City workers are required to have their temperature checked upon arrival at City Hall.

Updated Signage

We have reconfigured our lobbies to ensure residents can receive city services as safely and efficiently as possible. Residents will notice updated directional signage as well as reminders for social distancing posted throughout all of our offices.

Buy from our 24/7 Online Store

Residents can visit our 24/7 online store, ezbuy.chicityclerk.com, to purchase their City Sticker, Residential Parking Permit, and Dog Licenses.

Remember, City Stickers also can be purchased at any of our 3 Office of the City Clerk locations, Department of Finance payment sites, and at neighborhood currency exchanges.
